Wine Tasting Venue Opens in a Heights Boulevard Home
Yes, you read that correctly: A historic home on Heights Boulevard has just reopened in May of 2021, as a private events venue that will host all kinds of events, in addition to wine classes and tastings.
Houston locals and vineyard owners Carolina and Sergio Weitzman recently bought the home and converted it into a multi-tiered venue that can host up to 100 people, for all kinds of events.
The first floor has a robust brick pizza oven, a tasting room with a fireplace, a large wraparound porch, as well as a spirit tasting room hidden away under the stairs. The venue has a rooftop terrace, where they will be hosting events and wine classes.
The Weitzman family runs their own vineyard, SERCA Wines, out of Mendoza, Argentina for 10 years. At their newly converted venue on 447 Heights Blvd, they will be stocking and featuring their own wines, as well boutique wines from new, boutique wineries in the area.
For their selection, they will stock their very own SERCA Wines including their Corte Blanc, Malbec Rose, Gran Corte, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec Reserva.
