Set to Prokofiev’s breathtaking score, Stanton Welch’s production weaves the poignant tale of the star-crossed lovers exquisitely. The production pays tribute to the Italian Renaissance with lavish sets and costumes by acclaimed Italian designer Roberta Guidi di Bagno. Welch’s Romeo and Juliet is a brilliantly imagined interpretation of the world’s most famous love story, matching its classic themes with fresh choreography. The Bard himself would surely approve.”
