Live Fire Steakhouse Opening in Historic Building

Andiron, one Houston’s premier wood-burning steakhouses, is coming to Allen Parkway. 

Michael Sambrooks (of The Pit Room, 1751 Sea & Bar, Cadente) plans to open Andiron with a bar and lounge area, a full dining room that seats over 100 people, an outdoor bar and lounge, and a covered patio as well. 

The steakhouse is going to be located in the historic building at 3201 Allen Parkway, Ste. E110, Houston. It will be right across the street from The Gordy. 

Sambrooks plans to combine their wood-burning skills from The Pit Room and their chef-centered experience at 1751 Sea & Bar to bring a totally unique dining experience to Houston. They will feature traditional steakhouse menu items, entrees prepared with live-fire techniques, and modern small-plate options as well. 

The new restaurant location will share access to the adjacent 300-car garage and Stages Theatre. An opening date has not yet been announced.
