Labor Day Weekend Ideas in Houston
The three-day weekend is finally here! It’s Labor Day Weekend, and we’re ready to show out with these activities to help you unwind and have a great time!
Get Outdoors
With record-high temperatures cooling down this weekend, it’s an excellent opportunity to explore the outdoors! Bike down to Buffalo Bayou or stroll through Hermann Park to take in the scenic nature of Houston. Hermann Park offers many activities, including peddling boats, a little railroad ride, and the gorgeous Japanese garden. Visiting the museum district and having a picnic afterward sounds like a perfect day to us! Hot tip: do these outdoor activities before 10:00 AM for the optimal weather (70°-85°).
* Museum and garden hours may differ on 9/4
Astros Game
Classic American baseball to celebrate classic American workers! Grab a hotdog and don’t miss the Astros game this weekend against the New York Yankees from Friday, Sept. 1st to Sunday, Sept. 3rd! Celebrate your work with America’s favorite pastime at Minute Maid Park this weekend.
Restaurants
Visit the popular brunch spot at FM Kitchen from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, followed by happy hour all day. Whether sipping on a hang-over iced coffee or eating brunch flautas, FM Kitchen is guaranteed to leave you full and satisfied. Later on, enjoy an $8 frozen rose all day with Heights & Co.
Have a Happy Labor Day!
