Houston's Heights Welcomes Michelin Recognized Restaurant: Terry Black's Barbecue

It is finally here! The renowned Terry Black's BBQ has officially opened its first location in the Houston Heights area . Known for its authentic Austin-style barbecue, this Michelin-recognized restaurant has already become a major destination for City Choice Homes residents and visitors alike. 

Located at 1329 N. Shepherd Drive, Terry Blacks has already swooped Houston residents in at their soft opening on August 18th. Terry Blacks first opened their doors in 2014 at their home location in Austin, Texas. They have had a national following thanks to social media for celebrity food visits and viral videos featuring some of their best items like their “dino” beef ribs. The Houston menu features the same items as the Austin menu such as brisket, beef ribs, pork ribs, smoked turkey, house-made sausage and classic sides like mac and cheese, green beans and cornbread. The dessert menu features mini pecan pies and banana pudding, paired with beverage choices like wine, frozen margaritas, and Texas craft beer.
