Houston ISD Welcomes Students to New Bellaire High School

The brand new facility for Bellaire High School is nearly 80% complete through the construction process. This $141.5 million construction project and new Houston ISD educational institution will be open to students this fall for the 2021-2022 school year, beginning on August 23rd. 

The new facility will feature: 

• Multiple flex-learning areas
• A 900-seat auditorium
• A fine arts wing, 
• And a black box theater
• The physical education section alone will have two gyms, a swimming pool, and a diving well. 

Though Bellaire High School will be welcoming students in the fall for the 2021-2022 school year, the final construction phase will not be complete until August of 2022. The final phase of construction will include the completion of: 

• An administration wing
• A beautiful front entrance
• A five-story parking structure
• A turf football field
• And a new courtyard
