Downtown Holiday Attraction Coming to Bagby Street
Bagby Street corridor will be featuring a variety of luminous attractions to help Houston celebrate the holiday season. What they are calling their Winter Wanderland attraction was designed by Blachere Illumination, and includes more than 100,000 LEDs between Franklin and Lamar street. The Houston Downtown Management District will manage the light display, open from November 19th through January 2nd.
Attractions include an 80-ft. LED tunnel that covers part of the new bicycle and pedestrian walkway. It will also feature 11 constellation arches, 3-D trees, 22 lighted arches across the Downtown Aquarium, and massive, illuminated angel’s wings at the Central Library.
