Common Bond Cafe & Bakery Makes Debut in the Heights
The popular Montrose bakery and cafe, Common Bond, has opened in the new Heights Waterworks development at W. 20th and Nicholson St. The commercial center will also be home to tenants including Verdine, Jinya Ramen, and Hopdoddy. Featuring their signature pistachio croissant and chocolate chip-walnut cookie, Common Bond describes themselves as "a neighborhood restaurant where the community gathers to dine and bond over good food and extraordinary pastries."
The new cafe occupies 3,500 square feet and includes a larger indoor dining space as well as a patio, nearly doubling the seating capacity of their existing Montrose location.
Chef Jason Gould has enhanced the dinner menu; he and his culinary team will deliver French-inspired entrees to the Heights store. The menu will include beef bourguignon, steak frites, and duck confit. This location will also offer eight beer taps and a wine machine for "by the glass" pours.
The new Common Bond hopes to become a mainstay in the Heights community.
