The Nutcracker Goes On!

 The news dance and holiday lovers have awaited came Monday as the Houston Ballet announced artistic director Stanton Welch’s production of The Nutcracker will dance on this holiday season. While the Ballet’s Wortham Center home will not be ready for performances , The Nutcracker cast will find not one, but two, new performance venues this season. The Nutcracker tour begins in Sugar Land at the Smart Financial Centre with performances running December 10-23. Then Clara and entourage head back downtown to ring in the New Year at the Hobby Center from December 30, 2017-January 6, 2018. The venues may be different, but the holiday favorite remains the same!
