Miss Going to the Movies?

Good news! AMC has announced plans to reopen all of its 630 locations in the US by July.

As AMC theaters in Europe began closing in late February, the company has already reopened 10 of its theaters in Norway, German, Spain and Portugal as of June 9. The company plans to fully reopen globally in time for the release of Christopher Nolan's "Tenet" on July 17 and Disney's "Mulan" on July 24, the release states.

Planned strategies to curb the spread of COVID-19 upon reopening include implementing personal protection equipment, enhanced cleaning protocols, limited theater capacity and blocked seating. The company is also exploring the use of electrostatic sprayers, HEPA vacuums and upgraded MERV 13 air ventilation filters where possible to enhance sanitization efforts.
